Sweet Lake

Another shot from my trip to Lake Charles, LA this past weekend to shoot buildings for Champeaux, Evans, Hotard Architects.  I was shooting the building at this location, waiting for the sun to break out under the clouds to get some nice shadows on the building.  I kept watching the sunset and finally gave up on the building and turned to get this shot of the small private lake in front of the building facing the sunset.

How are you doing 7 exposures with a d90?

    • Wil, manually adjusting the exposures. The d90 only does 3 brackets, so I just start with the “correct” exposure and manually adjust darker and lighter, usually 4 exposures each way for a total of 9 exposures and then use the ones I need. hope this helps.

  3. love this todd, so clean as is all your work. the water reflections are stunning and the clouds form fantastic lines which draw the eye into the focal point of the image. well done.
